Fayetteville Campus Academics

Accelerated College Preparation Begins Here

At Haas Hall Academy Fayetteville, academics are designed for scholars who are ready to be challenged, take ownership of their education, and prepare for success at the college level. Our rigorous, accelerated college-preparatory curriculum combines high expectations with personalized support, giving scholars in grades 7–12 opportunities to pursue advanced coursework while developing the critical thinking, communication, and independent learning skills they will need beyond high school.

As the original Haas Hall Academy campus, Fayetteville has built a longstanding culture of intellectual curiosity and academic achievement. Scholars are encouraged to read deeply, participate actively in classroom discussions, ask meaningful questions, and engage with ideas rather than simply complete assignments.

A Rigorous, Well-Rounded Curriculum

Haas Hall Academy Fayetteville Academics provide scholars with a challenging course of study while allowing them to explore individual interests and future goals. In addition to a strong foundation in core academic subjects, scholars can pursue coursework across STEM, world languages, fine arts, career and technical education, and a variety of electives.

Our approach encourages scholars to become increasingly independent and accountable for their learning. Faculty members provide the instruction, mentorship, and support students need while maintaining the high expectations that prepare them for the demands of higher education.

More Than 29 Advanced Placement Courses

Advanced Placement (AP) coursework is an important part of the academic experience at Haas Hall Academy Fayetteville. Scholars can choose from more than 29 AP courses, providing extensive opportunities to challenge themselves with college-level material while still in high school.

Fayetteville also offers the AP Capstone Program, which emphasizes research, analysis, evidence-based arguments, collaboration, writing, and presentation skills. Together, our broad selection of AP opportunities allows motivated scholars to build an academic pathway aligned with their abilities, interests, and college aspirations.

Concurrent Credit Opportunities

For scholars ready to begin college-level studies, Haas Hall Academy Fayetteville offers concurrent, or dual credit, opportunities through the University of Arkansas, Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC), and other accredited institutions.

These opportunities allow eligible scholars to experience the expectations of college coursework while progressing toward high school graduation. Our location in Fayetteville further strengthens the college-preparatory environment by placing scholars within the same community as the University of Arkansas and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Regional Campus.

Learning Beyond the Classroom

Academic learning at Fayetteville frequently extends into the surrounding community. Scholars have opportunities to work in labs, engage in research with university professors, participate in academic competitions, and apply their knowledge through service and community-based experiences.

Scholar-led organizations also turn academic interests into real-world experiences. Fayetteville students have participated in FIRST Robotics competitions, hosted a statewide coding Capture the Flag event, taught economic concepts to younger students, and organized a Makers Fair. These opportunities help scholars see how their classroom learning can be used to solve problems, serve others, and explore future fields of study.
