At Haas Hall Academy Rogers, Activities are an important part of our close-knit school community. Scholars have opportunities to pursue interests beyond the classroom, build friendships across grade levels, develop leadership skills, compete, create, serve others, and become active participants in campus life.
Our smaller enrollment is a distinct advantage. Rather than getting lost in a large school environment, scholars have meaningful opportunities to participate in multiple activities and take on leadership roles. Whether their interests include STEM, athletics, fine arts, service, academic competition, or something entirely different, students are encouraged to get involved.

Athletics at Haas Hall Academy Rogers
Athletics provide scholars with opportunities to compete, stay active, represent their school, and develop teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

Academic Competitions & STEM
Learning doesn’t stop when the school day ends. Rogers scholars can deepen their interests through academic clubs and competitive programs such as Quiz Bowl, Science Bowl, Mu Alpha Theta, Computer Science and Programming, HOSA, and DECA.
These experiences give scholars opportunities to apply what they learn in the classroom, collaborate with teammates, solve problems, and test their abilities in competitive environments. They can also introduce students to potential college majors and future careers.
Fine Arts & Creative Expression
Haas Hall Academy Rogers also provides opportunities for scholars interested in creative expression. Music, poetry, art, journalism, dance, and drama/theater allow students to explore talents and interests that complement their academic experience.
For a small campus, this variety is particularly meaningful. Scholars don’t necessarily have to choose between being an athlete, an artist, an academic competitor, or a student leader—they can explore several parts of who they are.
Leadership, Service & Real-World Experiences
Activities at Rogers are also designed to help scholars develop beyond the classroom. Students participate in community service, leadership experiences, field opportunities, HOSA and DECA events, hiking experiences, academic competitions, and project-based learning throughout the year.
Faculty intentionally look for ways to connect classroom learning with real-world experiences. These opportunities help scholars develop communication, collaboration, responsibility, and leadership while seeing how their knowledge can be applied beyond school.
A Small Campus with Room to Lead
One of the greatest advantages of Haas Hall Academy Rogers is that scholars are known. With approximately 109 students, the campus provides genuine opportunities for students to become involved, make their voices heard, and take responsibility.
Scholars know one another across grade levels, and faculty members are highly invested in their academic and personal growth. This creates a supportive environment where students can try something new, take on a leadership role, or become part of several different groups.
Opportunities After the School Day
While Haas Hall Academy Rogers does not provide traditional after-school childcare, scholars are welcome to remain after school for clubs, tutoring, teacher assistance, athletics, and extracurricular activities. Faculty are also available before and after school to provide additional academic support.
This gives scholars more opportunities to connect with teachers and classmates while making activities a natural extension of the Haas Hall Academy experience.
